Closia

Mac menu bar app

Close your Mac. Your agents keep going.

Closia’s logo in charcoal on the brand’s ivory, and on the right its panel shown very large in an Agent session: 1:42:08, Claude Code working, “Vous pouvez fermer l’écran” (you can close the screen)

The context

I often hand long tasks to Claude Code or Codex, then step away. The Mac, meanwhile, ends up going to sleep, and the agent stops mid-task. Keeping it awake by hand has the opposite problem: you forget to let it sleep again.

The challenge

An app that stays out of the way: one click in the menu bar and the Mac stays awake just as long as needed, even with the lid closed. And behind it, a real product: an identity, a landing page, a checkout.

My answer

An identity first: the « En route » logo, a wing and a lid joined by a hinge, and its Liquid Glass icon. Then the « Immersif » panel: a charcoal card carries the whole session, four modes in a real segmented control, the duration in the middle, and during a session a countdown over a breathing night.

The result

Closia 1.0 is on sale at getclosia.com, €8.90 as a one-time purchase: Stripe checkout, license checked by my own server, automatic updates. The landing shows it all for real: a 3D MacBook, the playable panel and scenes shot in a single take.

What Closia can do

  • Keep the Mac awake for a set time, until a given hour, with no limit, or as long as the agents work

  • Follow Claude Code and Codex live, then let the Mac sleep once the last one is done

  • Stay awake with the lid closed, safely: charger, temperature, 4 hours at most in a row

  • Protect the battery: stop at 20% (adjustable) or as soon as the charger is unplugged

  • Start or stop a session from any app, with a keyboard shortcut

  • Show the time left in the menu bar, and offer +15 min five minutes before the end

The highlights of getclosia.com, ported as is. Everything plays, and nothing touches your computer.

Agent mode, in one take

The request types itself into Claude Code, the cursor opens Closia and the session follows the agent. When it’s done, the Mac gets ready to sleep. One camera, no cuts.

Lid closed, no cuts

The panel settles onto the Mac’s screen, the lid closes and the green glow lights up in the gap: the Mac stays awake with its screen shut. Then it opens again.

Everything you need, nothing more

The landing’s six features, each with its little scene, played on arrival and replayed on hover.

  • Four modes

A duration, an end time, no limit, or as long as your agents are working.

  • Your battery, protected

The session stops at 20% battery (adjustable), or as soon as you unplug the charger.

  • One shortcut, anywhere

⌃⌥⌘W starts or stops a session from any app. You can change it.

  • Time left, at a glance

Optionally, the countdown shows in the menu bar, without jittering.

  • Alerts that explain

Every session end says why. Five minutes before the end: +15 min in one click.

  • Display on, or off

Let the display sleep to save power, or keep it on during the session.
