The context
In September 2023, Manu, Ethan and I launched Jewbot: an AI assistant built for the Jewish community, answering everyday questions with real personality.
The challenge
An AI that talks about tradition has to feel trustworthy without feeling stern. The interface had to be modern, readable at any age and true to a rich culture.
My answer
I interviewed future users before drawing a single screen. The design system came out warm: Gilroy ExtraBold, a deep reassuring blue, bright accents, and iconography that reinvents traditional symbols with a light touch. Modules like Dr Love and B-A-BA make the AI understandable at a glance.
The result
Jewbot is live at jewbot.chat and keeps evolving, release after release.
